Twist of Tale

Nicholas Ilechie / / 1 min read

Some say if you love someone,
never let them go.
And some say if you love someone,
let them go.
A twist it may seem.

The poor often despise the rich, calling them selfish, greedy, and self-absorbed.
Meanwhile, the rich look down on the poor, branding them lazy, entitled, and undeserving.

The non-religious criticize the religious for being fanatical, superstitious, or blind.
While the religious judge the non-believers as sinners, infidels, or already condemned.

And isn't it even crazier that within the religious circles themselves, division thrives?
Despising one another over different doctrines, while all claim holiness and unity.
A house divided... fractals splintered.

A crazy world, it seems.
A world full of endless questions and few real answers.
And those who seek the answers... often become philosophers.

I found myself walking that path,
searching, questioning, wrestling with the madness.

But in the depth of my seeking,
He called my name.
