Trust

Trust is a delicate part of the human mind and heart and one that should not be toiled with or given away easily.
Trust is a powerful tool in a relationship and also a deadly tool in a relationship.
Trust is a force of its own.
When you trust a person you become blind to the truth laid in front of you overlapped and bundle with facts if it goes against your belief.
Trust prevents you from thinking clearly against the status quo because the human mind naturally protects us from hurts or whatever seems a threat to us.
Hence when you trust a thing or belief or person your mind fights against you or against anything that contradicts and even when the evidence is presented to oppose that belief your mind fights against it to ensure it keeps the status quo - this is one reason why it is very hard to prevent a betrayal.
Trust is a powerful weapon, if harnessed rightly can greatly increase productivity, intimacy, growth, and happiness because it eases the brain from overthinking, heightens faith and beliefs, reduces stress and worry, and eliminates doubts...
But where there is no trust the brain becomes overly conscious, anxious, worried, doubtful, and calculating all of which is a means for it to protect itself from hurt but in truth, this hardly yields growth and is often more detrimental to us.
Without trust, you can't really have a happy relationship or be the best version of yourself in that relationship, growth with people and businesses, or even live freely achieving your maximum potential
It's no debate that trust is essential for healthy living but you must know who to trust and what to trust
Read a book some time ago “the subtle art of not giving a fuck” when you summarize the whole book it's simple; to not give a fuck about something you must give a fuck about another thing, you just need to know what is worth giving a fuck to and what's not worth it - priority...
In the same line of thought; you must have heard “trust no one” and this sounds like good advice or a cliche but truthfully it's a piece of poor advice, rather than trusting no one, learn to know who to trust, what to trust and when to trust and let the basis of your trust not be corrupted by mental biases but be based solely on worthiness.
People feel oh when you trust less you avoid being hurt or getting betrayed but in truth, betrayal has little to do with you and more to do with the traitor, and trusting less does not reduce your chances of meeting more traitors 😅 it is even more detrimental to you than healthy.
Because your doubts and disbelief and worries could create a false reality that could damage a potentially good relationship or opportunity. You may think you prevented a possible hurt but you've lost a big gain.
A Funny saying in finance & crypto is “Trust but Verify” 😅 when it comes to business this is paramount but careful not to treat humans as objects...
Many people make this mistake; we allocate the same reasoning of thoughts to humans as we do to objects, which creates more havoc.
Treat humans as humans and objects as objects
Your heart is a tricky place guard it carefully but let your brain not forsake you.
