Lady in Red
Nicholas Ilechie / / 1 min read

When the sun goes down, she comes to me.
With a fragrance that sets my heart ablaze.
Her words, so sinfully sweet,
like red wine to merry men.
Her perfect lips uttered promises
that deliver my soul to rest
With eyes closed in her blissful presence,
She leans in and with a kiss,
Took my breath away.
Hard, have I fallen,
Deep, am I in
Lost, in the completeness of her body.
This enchantress had won me over
With just the sound of her voice.
If this be a mirage or a fantasy,
Then Let it be a dream
we never get to wake up from.
Say you love me now,
Take my hands and marry me,
And we'll grow old together
Run to me and let's paint a world as amazing as you are,
Cause In your eyes alone I see,
The most beautiful of all,
My lady in red.
